This settlement is one of the best observation points on the Sea of Galilee. Luxurious romantic B&Bs that combine pampering, comfort, an impressive view, a sauna, a heated swimming pool, and hosts with lots of good intentions that translate well in the field.

Carmel Beach - Zichron Yaakov - Luxurious b&b's with sauna's
Nothing will help, the old colonies have a charm that no community extension with half acre lots can compete with. These are the beautiful stone houses and the ancient people, who seem to be made of the same stone. This is the history and the stories that hide under every bush. 'Zikhron' is perhaps the best example of such a colony and Khan-Smadar is an excellent way to enjoy it, in style and only half a meter from the center. This is a typical 'memorial' compound with a historical story, and today it is restored and maintained. But it's only when I enter each of the four suites that I realize that I've arrived at a real boutique hotel, with a precise and solid design that complements the restored stone buildings. There are 4 suites here with an attached garden, and if you want to meet some people like you, then you can do it in the lounge bar over a good breakfast, or in the same pool.

There are some places where a brief glance at their photographs is enough to sell you. The finishes, the colors, the taste. When we visited this spot, the experience was tenfold: in all this romantic luxury we found lavish suites of magnificent beauty, old-time quality yet with a contemporary touch, exquisitely located in a beautiful complex including a private swimming pool, spa services, wonderful indulgences, and we haven't even mentioned the crystal stones scattered everywhere. We're not sure if it's the crystals or the hosts, but the positive energies you find here are definitely not incidental.

Combine that with the fact that there are 3 suites full of character, and the fact that the castle is located at the highest point in the vineyard from the Harel with a lot of Carmel and a little sea and a lot of silence, and a spacious yard - and you got a place that wouldn't embarrass the scene where Lady Marian makes eyes at Robin Hood.
