Alone in the woods with an amazing jacuzzi-spa and plenty of pampering
There are a few things that set the Big Oak apart: the absolute isolation within the natural forest, and the host - known to the public as the affectionate name of Barhala. The balconies here are the highlight of the vacation: a jacuzzi-spa that is located in just the right place, an intimate wooden "deck", oak trees all around and the tray of treats you bring from the fridge. Barhala, it is permissible to say here, has a slight deviation (positively) when it comes to the quality of the cheeses and wine you will receive.
For meat lovers, an unforgettable experience!
I enter Avirim in the morning and silently curse all those who managed to get a plot of land in this one-time settlement. A sign tells me to turn right, and at first it seems like a mistake. ‘What’s on the right?’ I ask myself and the sign – to the right there is nothing but a dirt road in a dense forest.
Curiosity leads me on and it pays off, when a 'window' appears on the left in the thicket and through it a cute wooden cabin is visible. A few dozen more meters on the dirt road bring me to its twin sister – also hidden in the trees. The guesthouse? Who knows where it even is...
It's probably a matter of personal taste, but after a welcome like that, I'm already in favor of this place. When I enter, the 'in favor' is reinforced by an entrance 'deck' with a seating area and a spa jacuzzi that literally touches the surrounding trees. Inside, an intimate and cozy single-space cabin is revealed with everything you need, including an LCD screen, a kitchenette that's also suitable for cooking, a seating area, a bathroom, and a spacious double sauna for cold days.
There are places that the host "makes" great. Here, the nature that surrounds the cabins also helped him.
What’s on the site?
Clean, private, pampering, quiet, refrigerator full of treats
Thank you Barla
Extremely rich refreshments, including a variety of boutique cheeses, quality beer, jams, homemade breads and more.
On Sunday-Friday, professional Argentinian barbecue at no cost
Argentines are known for their love of food and Barella hosts in line with this approach. Whether it's the delicacies that will be waiting for you in the fridge (look for "included in the accommodation") or the asado that Barella will make especially for you - just ask (by prior arrangement and for an additional fee). It's noticeable that Barella loves the good life, and for him it's good food, beers and motorcycles. In short, a man who knows what pleasure is and conveys this experience through his hospitality.
