Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the glamorous world of "La Village" boutique suites and spa. For me, this place reflects cultural changes in the concept of hospitality in Israel. It is about turning the gaze to Europe, with its artistic, cultural and historical wealth. And so is the new boutique hotel located in the Nof Kinneret neighborhood near Rosh Pina, which will become a brand that represents the new "Israeli dream" - striving for refinement, sophistication and luxury.
The elegant design in a classic French style, and the spectacular views of the Galilee, come here together with an abundance of technology and the most advanced accessories. You will also find a luxurious swimming pool, a dry sauna, a wet sauna, a spa jacuzzi, a treatment room and more.
"La Village" boutique hotel and spa is housed in a spacious villa and includes two suites, each on a separate floor, and 6 more rooms on two additional floors. Each unit is dedicated to a different famous painter (among them Rembrandt, Goya, Monet, Van Gogh) and in the unit itself you will see a reproduction of one of the pictures painted by him. All the units have a similar style expressed in restored and whitewashed antique furniture, with floral decorations in bright colors.
On the lower floor there is a double suite that is about 100(!) square meters in size and next to it is the pool complex and a huge spa jacuzzi. The visit to this suite left me (and I'm already used to the highest standards of the summit guide) speechless.
Two luxurious bedrooms and an extremely spacious living room have been set up in this suite to accommodate guests with the most demanding requirements. 42-inch LCD screen in the living room, two additional LCD TV screens in the bedrooms, two huge four-poster beds stunning in beauty (each in a separate bedroom), a double shower with a huge square rain head and a wet sauna with internal lighting and a pull-out chair, a double Jacuzzi, elegant and incredibly comfortable seating areas, a kitchen with a sophisticated coffee machine, plenty of complementary design elements - this (partial) list promises to provide the suite's guests with a once-in-a-lifetime experience ...
A marble staircase takes me up to the entrance floor. Here, on the comfortable sofa in an amazing French lobby, I catch up with the hotel manager - Chaim, who proudly tells me about the French inspiration of the place, about the furniture carefully selected in antique and restored furniture stores, about the health facilities, about the treatments, about the movie library, about the disk on key given to each couple, about the newspapers and magazines that the guests receive in the room and about the gourmet refreshments that include a mini bar with soft and spicy drinks, cookies, delicacies , fruits, chocolates, wine and even crackers.
After the conversation, I entered the "Mona" suite, which is a large space in which, on the polished parquet, there is a high four-poster bed with a golden finish and a huge jacuzzi made in the shape of a beautiful white bowl. Here, in addition to stylish seating areas and an intimate dining area, a TV with an LCD screen and a kitchen cabinet with a golden finish equipped with a sophisticated coffee machine, there is a charming balcony overlooking the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights and Hermon. Add to this muslin curtains, scented candles, antique lighting fixtures and stylish chandeliers, an electric fireplace, a unique mirror in an oval frame, plenty of original design details, a double shower with a wet sauna - and you will get the perfect romantic retreat created for those looking for the best.
On two more floors there are spacious and high-quality rooms, also equipped with a wet sauna and tastefully decorated. The chandeliers and the bedside table are decorated with red roses, the furniture is in white-brown tones, the walls are covered with wood, so the atmosphere here radiates an intimate and relaxing countryside.
At the end of the visit to the boutique hotel "La Village" in the view of the Kinneret, I thought to myself that the place reminds me of a good French movie. A fine plot, excellent actors, amazing scenery and soundtrack. But the real magic is in the atmosphere. And atmosphere is something that cannot be explained, analyzed and interpreted in words and in order to feel it you have to be here and absorb the exact complex of smells, colors and shapes - and...fall in love.
