It's likely that in recent years you've passed the entrance to Moshav Kahal quite a bit on your way north. It's equally likely that you didn't even notice. The loss is entirely yours. I discovered a charming settlement here that overlooks the Sea of Galilee and within it the "Romanticism on High" complex. These are definitely romantic B&Bs with three truly unconventional wooden cabins that redefine the concept of 'quiet' in design. Pleasant shades, a decent living space, and a lot of respect for the surrounding nature. Just as important - I discovered Yehudit here - a hostess who can set an example for others.
Location and ambience
I don't know how many hundreds of times I've driven up the road to the north, but this is the first time I've passed 'a nice place for coffee' and continued to the moshav. At the entrance to the complex, Yehudit is waiting for me, and I realize from the spot that she's the kind of hostess I like – a mix of authentic moshavniky with warm humanity.
Yehudit shows me her three cabins, and they are the most unexpected of cabins. Maybe I'm just a romantic who falls in love easily, but each one knocks me down in turn – in one, it's the entrance through a fragrant canopy of citrus trees, in another, it's a large, bright space that somehow transports me to Scandinavia, and in the third, it's an impressive oak tree growing out of a wooden deck and casting a shadow over it. The only thing they all have in common (apart from an outdoor and indoor jacuzzi and all the necessary amenities): excellent privacy and a quiet that will make you wonder if the Iranians dropped some bomb and you're left alone in the world.
What does the place include
The "Orchard" cabin is, as its name suggests, surrounded by an orchard of fruit trees, which, beyond the aesthetic experience, provides the cabin's guests with delicious gifts, all seasons of the year. The cabin is hidden away from prying eyes within a magical garden in complete privacy.
A large wooden balcony welcomes the cabin's guests with comfortable armchairs. Inside - a spacious, relaxed, well-lit space, soaked in the scents of nature. Large windows give the space an almost "transparent" appearance, blurring the separation between the outside and the inside. Although the cabin is built as an open space, it is visually divided into a central space and a sleeping area. The spacious living room is soaked in a festive and light atmosphere. The green living room sofa stands in front of a round jacuzzi surrounded by windows overlooking the garden. The curtain above the jacuzzi is designed to create an intimate and private feeling for those sitting inside.
The "Alon" cabin is well insulated and located in complete privacy next to an oak tree. Here, in a relaxing tranquility, immersed in the sounds of nature, a particularly pampering experience awaits guests: a "hot tub" jacuzzi stands on the covered terrace, next to a comfortable seating area.
The spacious, bright and comfortable cabin is designed in a fascinating fusion of styles. A rich and juicy color palette mixes bright red with delicate cream (yes, strawberries in cream, that's the exact image...). In the center of the space, on the smooth parquet floor, is a bright red lounge seating area. An LCD screen with a home theater system and connection to satellite channels is placed on a white wooden chest of drawers. At the foot of the glass wall is the round jacuzzi. The kitchen is equipped with an espresso machine and a variety of equipment for heating food.
The large "Garden" cabin is well hidden in rich vegetation, giving the entire area a sense of privacy and intimacy. A green garden surrounds the cabin, with the many fruit trees gently caressing its walls. The covered terrace forms a kind of "lonely island" in the sea of green trees, which provide it with deep shade and a relaxing and liberating feeling.
The spacious space of the cabin is surrounded by windows along the entire length of the walls, which create soft and radiant natural lighting. The light and cheerful rustic design recreates the garden atmosphere that prevails in the outdoor area. The design is full of floral motifs – in wall pictures, in spring curtains, and even in the print on the reading lamp next to the bed. There is a large rectangular jacuzzi standing in front of the window, and fittings are similar to the other cabins.

We left with a feeling of
Someone "flew" over the design here and created three cabins that are different in character, but worth returning to each one to get a taste of. Responsible for this is Yehudit, the host, who was able to create a pleasant, open, airy romantic space that is strengthened by the nature that penetrates inside.
