The luxurious line of Ahuzat Maskit on Liman has long marked the way for luxurious vacation rentals in Israel, and the suites indeed meet the quality level of a boutique hotel, besides the advantages of a private B&B vacation rental. The suites are constructed in the New Mexico style: stone walls with high, vaulted ceilings, colorful stained glass vitrage windows. Complete with, a swimming pool, these vacation rentals have tons of character.

Have a slightly embarrassing confession for a straight man: I'm sick of British period films. I don't know if it's the big mansions, the gardens and the class that oozes from every corner, or just the pleasant feeling that it's far from here... just such a movie ran through my head when I stopped in front of the designed iron gate at the entrance to "Mishchit".
I had heard a lot about this place (I think that Yael Bar-Zohar and Guy Zoertz got married here), but like any good Israeli I was skeptical. When the gate opened and the car slid into a large colonial garden, skepticism was left out. It turns out that there are real estates here after all...
There is something very effortless about the luxury that this place exudes. He doesn't need to shout that he's on a different level - he's just like that, completely confident in his qualities.
You can see it in the lounge, which is designed with classical restraint, in the large pool surrounded by a flower garden and in the sweet professionalism of Sarit, the owner of the place, and Ilanit, her right hand.
We sit in the shade of the umbrellas on the edge of the pool, and every now and then a quiet waitress approaches and gently inquires if we are missing anything. 'Must be missing' I think, I miss moments like this in my life... It turns out that there is such a whole team here, whose whole job is to make sure that the guests do a minimum of movements beyond the necessary 'belly back'.
"You can also have chef meals here" says Ilanit, and I think there is no more understatement than that - with all due respect to the millions of B&Bs that offer chef meals, here it is in a different league. 'Gourmet restaurant for one table' seems to me to be a suitable description for the large professional kitchen, and for the cozy space with a heavy wooden table in the center. "We also have wine that we produce in our private winery," says Sarit, and I ask myself how it happened that I arrived in Europe without passing through the National Guard...
The spa also screams quality, and again - don't confuse it with some poor sauna in the backyard of a forgotten guesthouse. There is no less than a complex here: a double treatment room, a beautiful sauna and above all - an impressive wooden cabin with a unique pool for Watsu treatments (don't ask me what it is, I just know it's pleasing to God...).
Oops, I didn't write about the suites, and it's not that there isn't anything. There are 4 of them, arranged in half a threshing floor, hidden in the vegetation. And each of them has its own design touch. They have a vaulted ceiling and an original design that Ilanit says is something between Spain and Tuscany (I checked on the map - it comes out roughly in Sardinia). Inside you will expect all the treats and accessories, and outside - a slightly small, but intimate and completely private garden.
Back in the parking lot, when I got lost in the tangle of paths and vegetation, the feeling that I'm on the set of "On Reason and Sensitivity" comes up again. As long as they don't shout 'cut'...
What’s on the site?
Four identical, spacious, stone structures nestle at the edge of a large courtyear, at the center of which is a beautiful fountain, with paths from it leading to the suites. The suites face each other, but their cultivated courtyards are well secluded in back.
Eight years ago, six of us started going on vacation on the last day of the school year. Five years ago we arrived at the Mishchit estate in Moshav Liman and experienced a vacation on a different level than anything we were used to. Since then, every year we have returned to vacation in Meschit last week, this was the fifth time, and we are already counting down to next year's vacation!
Tell me why return to the same place?
The answer is that only those who will go on vacation in the future will understand this.
And it's not only related to the elegant suites that are furnished with good taste, and not only to the pampering accessories inside, and not only to the amazing pool, and not to the surprising breakfast every morning or to the exemplary cleanliness that prevails in every corner or to the romantic dinner that the father of the place cooks for us.
But mainly for the amazing staff and the atmosphere in the place. From the moment we enter the complex, and for three days, the dedicated staff (which by the way does not change) makes sure to pamper us in different ways, and make us feel that we are the most important thing in the place. Every year we are convinced anew that no place will give us the value that you always give,
We didn't find a single one...
Just a perfect place.
We went to the Mishchit mansion for my wife's birthday last weekend.
In my opinion the pictures do not reflect the reality...the place is simply much more amazing in reality.
From the first moment we were accompanied by a feeling of calmness, relaxation and pampering.
You notice that someone is paying attention to the little things, which in the end make a big difference.
In the cleanliness, in the pampering (drinks for the heated pool, even in Thailand you don't get such a treat), in the fact that someone thought before committing to every single detail, we got full value for our money, and a break that made us feel like we were in the sand.
Thank you very much to all the team, I'm sure we'll see each other
