The sky's the limit…
At the edge of the cliff at Nimrod, at a height of 1125 meters, are two wood cabins that border on the sky. But Michal's and Diego's talents at hospitality know no limits. Here, uncompromising quality meet harmoniously with real country simplicity. Where else can you splash in a Jacuzzi and have a bird's-eye-view of Lebanon? An open, panoramic in every direction: Mt. Hermon in its full splendor, Nimrod's Castle, a view deep into Lebanon, all the way to Balfour Castle, the Naftali mountains, the Hula Valley, Mt. Bental, Mt. Odem, the Odem Forest and Birkat Ram...breathless. Rare vacation rentals.
Here, on the Hermon ridge, uncompromising quality meets simplicity in its pure, true form. In "Room 1125" we offer wooden cabins with panoramic windows that bring the view inside well. In the garden you will find seating areas to relax and marvel at the spectacular sunset.
At the entrance of the cabins there is a young orchard where you can pick different fruits according to the season: blueberry, raspberry, cherry, piglet, apple, fig, pomegranate, red plum, chestnut, walnut and mulberry.
Diego is a painter and at the entrance to Nimrod is his gallery. The love of art is also shared by the family members, and the artistic taste and practice find expression in the interior design of the cabins. The paintings in the B&Bs are the fruit of his brush as well as all the woodwork:
The armchairs are made of goshni wood (large blocks) as before, the table is made of solid wood and has a mosaic embossed on its surface.
The lampshades are all made of stained glass, and a stained glass partition is also used in each cabin. The sinks are made of painted ceramic bowls purchased in antique markets, the walls work with slate stone and the floor of the zimmer is a combination of Mitzpe stone. The rich creativity and the high quality of the finish maintains a rustic design line, simple and clean of any kitsch.
The equipment of the cabin is first class. Wood fireplace for heating (and even a heat diffuser in the closet), wireless internet, DVD player, LCD TV and home theater system, movie and music library, entertainment corner with board games, reading books and quality magazines.
Inside the cabins you will be greeted with fine refreshments including handmade chocolates, a bottle of Jordanian wine and a homemade health cake. The fresh and rich breakfast of the "The Witch's Cauldron and the Milkman" restaurant (at the entrance to Nimrod) is served in the restaurant or in the cabin, your choice. And if your heart longs for some home-made dish for a perfect winter treat, Michal will be happy to cook for you by pre-order and at cost price. It is also possible to coordinate a traditional feast like the king's in a Druze house.
I was impressed that Michal and Diego close every detail to the end without compromise: "Room 1125" contains wooden cabins designed for accommodation in extremely extreme weather conditions with a fine level of insulation.
The cabins are full of peace, tranquility and grace and invite you to enjoy a real royal vacation in the sky.
What’s on the site?
At the edge of a 1125 meter high cliff, nestle two wood cabins that border on the sky. An open, panoramic view in every direction will simply take your breath away. Rom 1125 offers wood cabins with picture windows that seem to bring the scenery right into your living room!!!
We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in Michal and Diego's cabin, and enjoyed every moment.
It took us a long time to find a B&B that included all the parameters we were looking for - double, secluded, with a view, with a jacuzzi that overlooks the view, with a truly indulgent breakfast and above all quiet - without children running around screaming on the nearby lawn, and without the sounds of cars and music from the neighbors.
The hospitality at Diego and Michal provided all this and much more. In the B&B (which was very clean and cozy and restful) there were pampering chocolates, delicious cookies made by Michal, excellent home-made pomegranate liqueur, wine, washed fruit, nuts, cornflakes, juices, good coffee, pampering tea infusions... there was also a library of movies and games. A fun box, and also a variety of toiletries (including little chips like a comb and pins in case we forgot). The investment was evident in every detail, and reached its peak in the careful breakfast that included a huge selection of homemade spreads and jams, and good and cheap cheeses and what not...
All this without leaving the cabin. Outside the cabin, a breathtaking view awaited us, cool weather (when in Tel Aviv forty degrees) and a million options for small trips around (if you even manage to get out of the cabin).
I really highly recommend Michal and Diego's cabins, and I have no doubt that we will be back.
Thank you for everything.
We came because of the view and didn't want to leave. Simply amazing and relaxing!
The cabin was extremely charming and Michal and Diego were very generous and nice! The breakfast was just great.
We will definitely be back :)
Cozy, clean, homey, warm, invested. The personal attitude and thought are felt in everything.
It's not just the decorated two-story cabin, it's not just the burning fireplace and not really just the breakfast with cheeses and fluffy omelets. Maybe the magical atmosphere and the picturesque view both in the cabin and outside?
The truth is that Diego and Michal will host you in an experience that you will take home with you and stay with you not for a day or two, but until the next time you return.
And believe me, you will want to come back soon!!!
Recommended wholeheartedly
We visited Brom for 2 nights at the end of August as part of a Hermon-to-high school trip. 3 relatively "spoiled" friends. We found a clean, meticulous, rich place, made with a lot of love for people. Michal and Diego are an example and model of a perfect meal. Eyal
We stayed for one night at Michal and Diego's place. This is a lovely couple who pampered us and made sure we had a real experience. The cabin is simply beautiful with a breathtaking view. The cabin has lots of treats: wine, chocolates, a coffee machine with capsules and lots of other little things that show a lot of thought has been given. In addition, they offered us whenever we wanted a fruit smoothie that they make on the spot. The cabin gives a fun feeling, everything looks cozy, well-kept and quite big. There is a yard with pampering benches and a hammock. If you want to indulge in a really good dinner, there is an excellent restaurant - a few seconds' walk away. All in all, this is a very pleasant couple and a vacation in a breathtaking area. I will probably return in the future.
A large bottle of red wine from the Golan Heights wineries, crackers, premium chocolate pralines, health snacks, fruit, natural apple juice, cereal, milk, everything needed to make hot drinks, a coffee machine, muesli with homemade granola or a fruit shake that will be served to you according to your request
The fresh and rich breakfast is based on natural and organic ingredients and contains homemade dips and jams, buckwheat bread baked on site, selected sheep's cheeses from a boutique dairy, vegetable omelette, fresh salad and more.
