Hama'agal Shel Honi

Very quiet for those looking for peace and quiet, an amazing view of the Kinneret, the hosts are very nice, a pampering breakfast, and lots of places around for a walk...

We were welcomed by Roni and Ashlo, the owners of the place located on the summit of Amirim and overlooking a spectacular view. A rich breakfast where all the raw materials were harvested and prepared by the people of the north contributed to the mood and atmosphere. First of all, the place is not clean, there is a problem with the Wi-Fi and TV reception. There is a jacuzzi, but there is no really hot water or it takes a long time to heat up (according to the owner of the house, it actually takes a few minutes to reach warm lukewarm water takes more than half an hour). The room is really not as good as in the pictures. The balcony is not really private, in order to have privacy you have to hope that one of the rooms is not there at the time. But the highlight is the landlady and the employees - disgusting attitude (mostly) of the landlady and the feeling that she is doing us a favor that she even provides service.

Unfortunately the place is not inviting. Unkept and even neglected. From the rickety stairs that go up to the house, to a neglected yard, to the kibbutz shower in the 70s. It was very hot at the entrance and the hostess did not want to turn on the air conditioner again. The rooms are indeed clean, but to call the place a boutique hotel... is more than an exaggeration. I would say that if the price was half as low, it might be equal to those that are what their budget allows. Breakfast was ok.
