..."How many log cabins do you know, which are located right on the top of a mountain? How many of them are actually, but right in the forest? How many of them give you a real feeling of connection with nature? And perhaps one of the more important questions: how many log cabins do you know, are located in the incredible depths? So the answer is - not many. Maybe lonely. And "Ali Galil" has three of them, which allow you to leave the cabin, start walking and end in a hidden corner in the thick of a magical pine forest , spread out a plaid blanket and stare at the treetops playing catch with the sun's rays. And when your favorite person is lying there next to you, it's even more amazing…” [From the words of the site critic, Alon Schwarzman]
Advantages and disadvantages, a review from the field This is the second time in the last year that I visit the "Ali Galil" compound and it seems as if time passes by this place - which is located in an enchanted forest - and does not touch it, and that is good. The tall trees, the natural vegetation and the air full of oxygen - for me, this is the ultimate environment, one that expresses the added value of a deep location: the lungs expand, the eyes stop running and calmness takes control of the nervous system.
Location and ambience
Deep - a beauty that has not expired
Teveka is one of the most charming and special settlements in Israel that have not yet been "spoiled" by excess money and visitors. This small settlement managed to keep the natural color (literally) of the place but still develop and produce tourist attractions in the spirit of the place, such as a horse farm, an excellent cowboy restaurant, hiking trails and more.
The journey to the depths is accompanied by ups and downs, great views and lots and lots of woods and nature. Whether you get there from RP or Safed, this road will be kept in your memory. The atmosphere here is rustic and simple and the people who come here are mainly looking for peace, simplicity and a pleasant and quality vacation.
The complex - magic without unnecessary effort
"Ali Galil" is located on a fairly large natural area. In the center are the pool and the sauna and at the back, facing the forest, are the cabins arranged in a half moon shape with a front to the pool and a backyard facing the forest.
There is something very effortless about the way this place charms you. It starts with the simplicity of the design with the wood and stone, and the way they touch the water in the beautiful pool, and continues with the fact that the owners did not plant special vegetation in order to try to hide one of the cabins from her, and ends with the fact that there are also small minuses that make you feel comfortable: for example, the piece of synthetic grass that was placed in the yard because the pine needles do not allow normal grass to grow. Still, the magic exists and is present from the moment I got out of the car and started breathing the clear air of the forest.
It is worth noting that the guest house is located close to the access road to the complex, and it is not noticeable at all.
The cabins are immersed in nature
At the entrance to each cabin, you are greeted by a "thin" deck with rocking chairs that faces the common pool complex. The backyard is large and spacious with fairly good privacy. It is right in the middle of nature and there are various relaxing corners. You can just take a piece of cloth and sit in a corner, you really don't need more than that. But if you are spoiled then you can also use the hammock or the hand-built wooden swing. There is also a barbecue corner and a shaded dining table.
The interior of the cabins is pleasant and relatively spacious (about 50 square meters) and spreads over one space with a large double bed (king size), oil fireplace, adjustable TV, sitting area, double Jacuzzi and a small kitchenette (you cannot cook).
The nature of the cabin is suitable for an environment that is maintained by the hosts with a lot of attention and cleanliness while emphasizing the concept here - simplicity, attention and a lot of nature.
The hosts - attraction from the first moment
Abigail and Eli returned to Israel a few years ago after a long long journey in South America. Abigail says that she has always been drawn to the deep and after they returned, they made a decision to settle there. The choice of hosting was natural because communication with people is pleasant for her and Eli, her partner, who takes care of the contact and now applies it with the guests.
In conclusion: there are not many places like this. It's because of the forest, because of the simplicity, because of the air, and maybe also because of this beautiful settlement that radiates its presence on everything that happens inside it and protects it over the years. Abigail and Eli have built three charming cabins here with a lot of consideration for the environment, and it seems that the forest is loving them back.
