... So the good news is that you don't have to go as far as America, because it's happening right here, in Moshav Ben Ami. And the mansion belongs to Anat, the host, who created two beautiful suites here, really meticulous, with a personal design full of character, vintage objects and a lot (but really a lot) of attention to the little details.

It's true, when you stay in a mansion like this, absolute privacy on the balconies is not the point, so don't look for it. On the other hand, you will get the pampering of mansions: a really - but really - big pool, a dry sauna, a spa jacuzzi, a dining room, a mini-gym and lots and lots of green space.

A little background: Ben Ami is an affluent Moshav. very affluent. And there are not many of them in the Galilee. It is located not far from the rivers and as soon as you enter it you feel that you have come to the right place: green spaces, beautiful buildings, large estates and a lot of care.

At the entrance to the complex you discover two gates: one leads to the square (!) which is in front of the guest house. The second gate leads to a green path that reveals a separate 2-story building, where - on the ground floor - the two suites are located. Already at the entrance to the complex, you are quite shocked by its size.

The suites overlook the pool
The units are located sharing a common wall but have completely separate entrances and balconies. Ideal for a couple or two couples of friends who want both to be together and a little privacy.

Yam - a huge and impressive suite. 80 square meters of beauty inlaid with special items in shades of blue, using decorative items related to the atmosphere of the sea. It includes a double bed, a huge and luxurious indoor jacuzzi, a kitchen (not for cooking), a coffee machine, an extra large bathroom, a library full of fine books, and for dessert an exit to the balcony overlooking the pool through a large sliding door.

Garden - This suite faces the opposite direction (to the garden) with its own balcony, and is designed in an eclectic European style. Here too you will find a huge indoor jacuzzi.


The mansion - a huge pool and restored horse stables
As mentioned, this is a huge complex, containing only 2 units. In the heart of the complex is the huge built-in pool which really does not fit into the definition of a "B&B pool". A quick look at the pictures will make it clear to you. Surrounding the pool is a building that was once used as horse stables, and today it has been renovated and maintained in good taste in a retro-chic style and contains a jacuzzi spa, a dry sauna, a mini gym and a BBQ area.

Between the accommodation complex and the neighboring guest house there is a beautiful "curtain wall" which, although it does not provide complete privacy, does the job in terms of creating the right atmosphere.

Around you will find green meadows and sunbeds. In the background, an endless avocado grove. The dining hall building is located some distance from the complex and walking to it in the well-kept garden is an experience in itself (don't forget to say hello to David on the way). Adjacent to it - a relaxing treatment room.

The hostess - a matter of investment and attention
When creating the complex, it was important to Anat, the hostess, to create an intimate and quiet atmosphere, one that would match the spirit of the settlement. It can be said that the appropriate saying for this special place is "Anat is in the small details" and it accurately reflects the meticulous mindset and attention within the suites and the entire complex.

As a design enthusiast, I was excited to find in this world, in Anat's view, a precise modern-antique style where art details collected, preserved and presented as part of the special experience. It is worth noting that some of the works were made by Anat herself - and that says it all.

It is impossible to complete the review without mentioning the hostess's commitment to personal hospitality that is "tailored" for the guests, with room service available.

In summary: a particularly well-invested place, with a hostess who knows a thing or two about design and service. There is a physical space here, but one that creates a personal space where you can fulfill a small dream - to stay in a real estate without wandering all the way to America.
