When an elaborate design is part of the romantic vacation
Let's play with the associations: the cult series "Mad Men", Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, rock and roll at the beginning... Is there? All these nostalgic memories have one common denominator: the fifties of the last century, a vibrant, colorful and fascinating period, which revolutionized the perception of the world, the lifestyle and the aesthetics of all humanity.
"Piptis" and "Champagne" are two separate complexes operated by the same owners. Each of them offers two very large luxury suites with rich furnishings. If the design of Piptis has a nod to the spirit of the fifties and an open view, then the two suites in "Champagne" offer a classic-romantic look with intimate courtyards.
The two suites in the Piptis complex are located in a spacious building, with separate access and complete privacy. The suites are located below the guest house, with partial privacy in the common outdoor area but there is an open view, a heated swimming pool, stylish outdoor furniture and two designed "hupa" sheds, with a dining table and romantic lighting.
This is a complex with a panoramic, authentic and unique view, which "floats" above the nearby nature reserve, "breathes" the open blue sky, kisses the line of the Galilee mountains that meet the Mediterranean Sea at the border of the horizon.
As mentioned, the stylish design in "Fifties" , with its surprising urban line, is accompanied by a rich technical specification, which includes, among other things, elaborate jacuzzi facilities, adjustable LCD screens, rain-head showers, and large beds with an orthopedic mattress and a pampering layer.
The suites are built as an open space, with a wide wall of windows to the view, which creates here a blur between inside and outside and pours natural, soft and bright lighting into the space. The organization of the space combines functionality with high aesthetics: the living room corner, the sleeping areas, the bathroom and the kitchen are located in niches that are visually separated by levels, and partial walls, where each complex has its own character, a harmonious color palette and a complete design "story".
Both suites share a similar design line, based, as mentioned, on the "Pop Art" style. Restored furniture details characterized by a high level of aesthetics alongside practicality and durability were carefully selected in collectors' markets. Black and white period wall photographs give the space a sense of authenticity and documentary accuracy.
Decorative and textile details in a retro motif abound with vibrant colors and an artistic touch. Lighting fixtures with "flowing" shapes and rounded contours enhance the effect of height and space. The color palette is surprising: on a solid gray background, non-standard colors stand out, including optimistic and cheerful shades of yellow and green.
In "Champagne" the design is luxurious and tends to the classic side, with plenty of treats for body and soul and with a sensual and romantic atmosphere. In the two suites in Champagne you will also find a private spa jacuzzi.
The Dom Perignon Suite offers an entrance gate with a guest code that protects the couple's privacy. When opened, a secret world of magic is revealed.
The suite is characterized by an expensive, sophisticated and refreshing taste. Above all, the space itself is impressive here - enormous in dimensions, built asymmetrically with non-standard use of niches, height changes, rounded corners and surprising fragility.
The equipment includes a spacious and comfortable kitchen adapted to cooking gourmet meals, two dining areas allow a choice between an intimate meal at a table for two and a celebration with many guests around a huge dining table for six. A huge living room, a surround system, plenty of movies to watch, a wood-burning fireplace with a unique design, and more.
In the large outdoor area of the suite there is a spa jacuzzi for eight people, with tropical trees that guarantee shade around the clock, a romantic canopy-like shed, many chaise longues and a spacious dining area.
The garden of the "Gotia" suite welcomed me with a thousand and one shades of hearty green. Grass (real!...), a private heated pool, sitting areas, a dining table for six, "cheap" hot, chaise longues, hammocks and swings scattered among ornamental and fruit trees and surrounded by colorful plants and flowers that completely isolate the complex.
The suite has a large and luxurious living room made in a fusion style and combines modern elements in the design of the walls, the use of niches, arches and partitions. The suite contains two bedrooms.
These two complexes are excellent examples of romantic B&Bs that also offer an excellent design experience, in addition to pampering the body and mind. They are intended for lovers of impeccable quality, nostalgia, sophisticated aesthetics, and beautiful and well-invested outdoor areas.
