Sea Zen

The complex, with two luxury suites, rises above the top of the high cliff and seems to float above a primordial panoramic view that brings together the horizons of the Sea of Galilee, the Golan and the Galilee. Intense sunsets that visit the place every evening, turn the sight into a spectacular night vision - a magical and powerful sight, rare even in terms of the entire settlement of Ma'ale Gamla, which is famous for its scenery.

I found here a perfect fusion between natural beauty and architectural creation, a romantic atmosphere and a meditative feeling, a fragrance of spring lightness and philosophical depth. Everything is concentrated, revolves and moves within a circle, the symbol of life according to Zen theory, which repeats and appears here in the demarcation lines of the area, in the organization and design of the suites, in the details of the furniture and decoration and even in the outer shell of the landscape.

The complex is built on two levels: the lower one is made as a convex wooden frame and surrounds the place where the cliff descends steeply to the Sea of Galilee. This level is used as an observation station and a bar with high and comfortable chairs. Next to the bar, in an accessible and intimate area, there is a barbecue corner, available to guests.

The upper level constitutes the central area of "Si Zen" and contains a public area and a private area of each of the identical suites. A cream painted wooden "deck" is located at the edge of the cliff with a feeling of floating above the landscape, similar to Sinbad's flying carpet.

The two suites in the complex are built in the "yurt" style - a Mongolian structure, special in its round shape and natural building materials. The space is divided into an internal complex and a large balcony, where there is a round jacuzzi, sunk into a wooden floor.

Inside - an open space, light and bright, breathing. The atmosphere matches the one outside - full of peace, contentment and calmness. All the furniture is built to order, to match the non-standard structure of the yurt. The design is done in soft lines, in a minimalist and clean style, in a neutral and quiet color palette.

At the front of the building - a huge, one-way glass wall, coated on the outside with mirrors that reflect the view. The inner balcony, also built in the shape of a circle, is surrounded by a glass display case and a semi-opaque curtain, for the guests' privacy. Next to a designed coffee corner, a round jacuzzi sunken into the wooden floor of the balcony awaits. The guests will find the other circle in the form of a private tanning area - a spacious outdoor area, equipped with tanning beds made of braided rattan.

The suites offer luxurious fittings - two rain-head showers in the bathroom, an extra-large round bed, wrapped in a unique mattress, with a thick layer of pampering, which supports all parts of the body. A soft pouf sofa in an original design by the owners of the place is located in front of an LCD screen connected to yes HD and a cinema system. An electric fireplace completes the necessary.

A rare location, a breathtaking view, a unique design, a spiritual atmosphere, an aroma of romance and indulgence... Among the multitude of superlatives that might describe the "Si Zen" suite complex in Ma'ale Gamla, I find one word that fully conveys the essence of the place - harmony.
