Surroundings: 3 minutes walk from the artists' village

I will mention here that in addition to the many qualities offered by the zimmer, the guests receive a "bonus": the zimmer is a 3-minute walk away from the artists' village located at the entrance to the settlement. Here you can admire (and buy) a variety of works of art, including pictures, ornaments, ceramics, organic products and more. Two restaurants - kosher meat and dairy, will provide guests with a culinary experience in a romantic European atmosphere.

The complex of "Kokuriko" is located in the outer shell of the settlement - which guarantees a high and isolated location, and allows a direct line to the landscape.

The complex and the suite:
The "Kokoriko" suite is located above the guest house, in complete privacy and with a separate entrance. In the backyard of the complex, intended for suite guests only, is the heated swimming pool. The privacy in the pool is partial due to its exposure to the neighbors house.

The suite itself is built as a large space with a sleeping gallery, and a large adjoining balcony. "Inside - Tel Aviv, outside - National Geographic" is exactly how one of his guests summed up the experience of visiting the "Kokoriko" complex. Well, I couldn't define the concept of the place better. When you go up to the suite, you come to a huge, covered balcony, which offers a variety of addictive lounging corners, barbecues, vegetated areas and, of course, a view of the landscape.

A surprise is hidden inside the balcony - a pampering soft tub jacuzzi, which gets extra points at night - when the colored lighting makes it especially romantic.

The direct view of the landscape includes Hermon and the fields of the Golan Heights, while from the huge balcony you can see the Sea of Galilee, Mount Tabor and the Galilee Mountains. The brilliant design solutions in the two-story space include, among other things, the non-standard use of windows, the display of interesting collections consisting of original art details.

The suite space is spread over the base floor which serves as a living room and kitchen and a sensual sleeping gallery with a wide bed made of custom carpentry. One of the brilliance of the design here is the abundance of windows of different shapes and sizes, which are "responsible" for the soft lighting and the "embedding" of the view within the space as part of the decoration.

Plenty of lighting solutions, including many spots, make it possible to adjust the atmosphere to the situation in a very precise way. Photographs and prints in high taste and other decorative details (note the special ceramic utensils on the kitchen shelf) are combined in a clean and precise interior design based on a neutral color palette with powerful red touches.

Two small balconies connected to the space on the living room floor and the huge window "attract" visitors to the place to watch the view up close.

The host: creator of an experience
Instead of telling you dry details about David Peled, the owner and host, maybe I'll just quote him: "We thought of couples like us who sometimes want to take a break from the race of life and dive into a peaceful and relaxing vacation, strengthen the relationship, enjoy each other, experience together..." As far as we're concerned, he succeeded. Another thing that may indicate the nature of David's hospitality is the abundance of high-quality refreshments (which include high-quality wine and special cheeses) served in the suite.

In conclusion
This is definitely an unconventional complex created by a person with unconventional thinking. The feeling you get here, when a couple is staying in complete privacy, is of a whole world that is all good, with every detail thought of, that is all yours. Add to that an excellent location and an excellent view and we will have one of the exceptional complexes that we reviewed recently.
