One of the best boutique hotels in Israel. point.
Let's start from the end: "The Last Supper" is one of the most unique and high-quality boutique hotels in Israel. If you ask Natalie Portman and other "celebs" who have stayed here, you will probably hear the same statement (and she is not the only "celeb" who regularly stays here - see the full review). The place has gained a great reputation among connoisseurs for being unique in Israel: A simple and perfect location "on the landscape" in the magical Amirim, a meticulous, smart design, without compromises, with a distinct European tendency and particularly high-quality accessories that match the overall quality.
The personal experience I had during my visit to "The Last Supper" can be described as a journey through time. The "route" passes through the 19th century period of classical Europe, as the designed spaces of the suites in the luxury boutique hotel reproduce with marvelous precision the style of the homes of the European aristocracy.
The unique atmosphere is achieved through the antique furniture, which was purchased from private collections abroad, and through the judicious use of "period" accessory details and a color palette that was carefully adapted to the spirit of the time.
The large outdoor complex, in the boutique hotel "The Last Supper", is surrounded by panoramic views of a colorful Galilean landscape, immersed in rich and blooming vegetation, where many romantic corners are "hidden". A magical hiking trail leads to the pool complex, which is "sunk" in a tree "thick" in the shade of the trees and overlooks a breathtaking view from above. The atmosphere here is "different", very personal, full of character and story.
The complex itself is on the slope of the mountain in Amirim, not far from the entrance to the settlement, open to the south towards the landscape.
Four beautiful suites make up the complex.
The three older suites (" the northern", "large" and "southern" ) are located on a wide balcony (each has an additional balcony, overlooking the view and completely private).
The romantic "Provence" suite is located separately and is especially suitable for couples who are looking to isolate themselves in a more private and intimate environment.
In addition to this, there is a magnificent lobby, where a gallery of beautiful photos is displayed, the work of Bella, a talented artist in her own right and a professional hostess.
Each suite here has a wide balcony overlooking the landscape, a GODIN fireplace (in a model that hasn't changed in 500 years), a large jacuzzi and more. The ceilings here are particularly high. As I pass from suite to suite, stopping by rare items that caught my eye, Bella, the hostess, tells me about the history of the ancient mirror in the gilded frame, of the impressive light fixture that hangs from the ceiling, of the exotic carpet from ancient times - every object here has a fascinating past, character and story .
A high-quality, luxurious boutique hotel with a real European character, which recreates the romance of the past at its best. Add to that a great location, a breathtaking view, high-level equipment and hosts with a high sense of service gained over many years of experience - and you will understand why "The Last Supper" has been one of our more "tasty" cherries on top for many years.
What’s on the site?
The Provence suite, located on the second floor of the Last Supper House, is particularly roomy, with its open space construction. This refreshing suite is designed in the Provence style, expressed in the use of flowery motifs for a light, spring atmosphere, with pastel colors of green and yellow, resulting in a combination of pastoral serenity and cool luxury.
Guests will discover a large, romantic canopy bed, a living room with original French furniture, a bathroom with pink Portuguese markble and a round, rain shower head, and, of course, a deck terrace of bleached wood, looking out over an open view connecting the Arbel, Mt. Tabor, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights into a magnificent panoramic postcard.
Among the uniue pieces that fill this large space (70 sqm), I would like to point out an extraordinary 19th century French wardrobe, a restored French armchair and gorgeous drapes ordered especially from France to complete the romantic atmosphere. Perfect harmony at its best.
The Northern Suite has enormous windows through which stream sunlight and spring air. Flowery motifs in the textiles and upholstery combine with a light green-pink color palette, and the wood floor adds country warm to this colorful atmosphere.
Ancient European furniture provide classic elegance. The terrace overlooks the Galilee mountains and a lovely balcony overlooks a rich, natural forest.
This space is 60 sqm, with large windows to let in the light. The color scheme is green and antique rose - a surprising but interesting mix that creates an elegant, refined, romantic atmosphere.
The furniture is antique-style, restored and lovely, including an antique armchair and glass-doored bookcase from England, an antique mirror, a carved wood coffee table and more.
The European atmosphere in the suite is complemented by the Canaan atmosphere in the view from the terrace of the Galilee mountains, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Heights.
The southern suite combines a collection of antique furniture from Denmark, England and France, that fill the space with a colorful palette of turquoise and cream, emphasizing the clean, elegant lines of the suite design against the sky blue of the Galilee landscape.
The floor is parquet, and a big, round Jacuzzi in a wooden frame sits next to the window. The bathroom is gorgeous, with floor tiles designed by Laura Ashley.ף בריצוף של המעצבת הידועה לורה אשלי.
We got there by chance and fell in love.
It was the first vacation since my first daughter was born.
The place is more beautiful than the pictures, the breakfast was excellent, the service was warm and the atmosphere was amazing.
Hope to go back there again.
The guest house is beautifully decorated and is spacious and the view is beautiful, and the breakfast is delicious, Y
Indeed, this is the hearty hospitality combined with the aesthetics of the B&Bs
(We stayed both in the north and in the south)
As well as the paintings of the talented owner of the house who, in collaboration with Isha Hatim and Hachiman, infuse our guests with a sense of calm, peace and treasure magical moments during our repeated visits to the North in general and to Amirim in particular.
" The Last Supper "
She is definitely not the last for us.
Every season reveals the beauty of the Sea of Galilee seen from the windows of the B&Bs, and the beauty of the hosts shines from within,

Bella and Lorenz are among the oldest hosts in the field and in the past even ran a leading vegetarian restaurant under the same name. Today they focus "net" on hospitality (and grandchildren). Lorenz is responsible for the maintenance and Bella for the accommodation. The hospitality here has had an excellent reputation for many years. Bella is very particular about a special and meticulous European style - after all, Lorenz immigrated to Israel from Sweden (:
