B&B "Hoof Bonim" This beach has never been better
" Hoof Bonim B&B " is much more than a "B&B". It is more correct to describe it as a single suite, with complete privacy, which allows for a romantic vacation in first line to the sea, which is right across the street. If we take into account that between the sea and the suite there is a beautiful nature reserve, with bulbs blooming in winter and migratory birds that stop to rest before your eyes, then you can understand the advantages of the great location, just 30 minutes from the center.
The advantages, as I witnessed during the visit, do not stop at the location, and go inside, between the walls of the suite, which is designed in a clean, quiet line, one that gives respect to the surrounding peace. A covered Jacuzzi spa in the private "deck" also overlooks the open landscape and the train that passes by in the meadow from time to time, allowing you to enjoy the wonders of the water even in winter. So yes, the next stop: the builders' beach.
Chutsamza, I also have something to say about the hostess, my wife and even my daughters, so you should continue reading.
...two hundred years ago and two daughters ago, I traveled with my wife to Thailand. To this day, when we crash on the sofa at the end of the day, we return to the turquoise sea, the rare food and that white-curtained hotel that sits right on the beach.
Usually, this is exactly the point where one of the girls wakes up and brings us back to reality where all of this seems completely imaginary.
Apparently this is exactly what was going through Judy's mind when she decided to open their suite in Moshav Bonim. She and her family recently returned from a few good years (with an emphasis on good) in Australia and Thailand and it seems to me that their way of dealing with homesickness is simply to bring the experience here. The location - a meter from the best beach in Israel is definitely a good start.
The builders' settlement is only a 30-minute drive from the center, which attracts here even those who don't feel like going too far. In front of the Bonim beach, in the extension of the settlement, there is a row of villas on the first line to the sea. In the summer this is an advantage - a small jump and you are surrounded by pleasant water. In winter, the reserve is very green, blooms in many colors and is a perfect transit stop for migrating birds - this amazing atmosphere makes this season especially sought after among those who know how to appreciate and enjoy nature. Sit in the spa jacuzzi - and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
The only suite is built in perfect privacy with a glass wall facing the open view. This privacy is achieved by a canopy that separates the upper guest house from the suite on the ground floor and a pergola above the jacuzzi that also allows bathing in the rain.
Judy takes me to the only suite on the ground floor and there I meet quite a few design touches that continue this "beach house" line. There are oriental lighting fixtures, light furniture in pleasant turquoise tones, atmospheric pictures and everything you need to feel that you are really not in an ordinary place. Underfloor heating (in winter) gives a perfect feeling. I also find here an unconventional, dairy-vegetarian kitchen, with an electric stove, toaster, microwave oven, olive oil and spices. I go outside to a large wooden "deck", and discover a covered spa hot tub to protect against winter rain, next to which is an elaborate gas fireplace. There is total privacy here and there is a great view of the Kurkar hills and the sea.
Further down the "Dak" two beautiful wicker armchairs facing the sea beckon me. I sit down on one of them and look for the girl selling pineapple on a stick. A train passing in the meadow opposite shakes me, and the pineapple is replaced by an upside-down coffee that Judy makes for me in the machine.
The suite is a 4-minute drive from the beach and the lovely Beaver Reserve.
Only when I look at the clock and discover that I have already spent an hour and a half here, I realize how pleasant I was in this place. Maybe it's the design and the view and maybe it's the silence and the white curtain that flutters just like in memories, that make me lose time here. Just like then, and just like there, in Thailand...
What’s on the site?
This is our second visit to the B&B.
The B&B is spacious, very bright, properly maintained and the hosts are very nice.
It was fun to be back, and we will definitely be back.
We stayed about two weeks ago in the Hoof Bonim Zimmer suite. The suite is beautifully designed, clean and organized, the place inspires relaxation and peace, leaving plenty of room for romance and pampering. It was perfect without a doubt we will come back again. Many thanks to Eli for the wonderful hospitality. warmly recommended !
