Ein Hod is a very unusual place and suites that speak the same language are in great demand here. So we are here to inform you: where the green of the Carmel Range connects to the endless blue landscape of Atlit Beach, Hayka has created two new creations that provide privacy, with good furnishings, and a lot of romantic atmosphere.
Location and ambience
In Chaika's not-so-small kingdom, on the outskirts of Ein Hod, we found two masterfully designed suites, in a modern minimalist style, with a yuppie feel and a lot of architectural talent and attention to detail. They are located on the lower level of Chaika's house and face directly onto the view.
We walk along the access paths that dissect the lush green garden. Like everything here, the combination of stones on the path is unique: an inlay of large local stones and small glass beads adorn the large slices of local stones. Since the suites are located on the outskirts of Ein Hod, the green landscape is almost undisturbed and the roofs of the few houses are much lower than the garden level so that nothing stands between the viewer and the object of his or her observation - the landscape.
What does the place include
One of the gems of these special B&Bs in Ein Hod is a "hanging" deck, built right above the view. At sunset, all this beauty is even more intense. The light from the sunset in Atlit brings a diverse and orange wave, the sea paints the Carmel ridge in warm shades of orange and yellow and magenta red. When you finish staring at the Atlit Fortress on the horizon, you will turn your gaze towards the garden of ancient olive trees with twisting trunks that draw red shapes on the grass. It is clear why it is so easy to be an artist here.
The identical suites are designed as a "loft" space, with a huge, sinking bed, a large jacuzzi, and lovely furnishings. Since the place was once Chaika's studio, the artistic spirit still pulsates on the walls. Therefore, fittingly and appropriately, the walls are adorned with silk prints, handmade by Chaika, and no, they are not for sale.

Take in the sunset at the "hanging" lookout: The light from the sunset at Atlit paints the Carmel Range in warm shades of orange and yellow and magenta. It's clear why it's so easy to be an artist here.
And speaking of artists, there are countless galleries here, as well as places to eat and drink. It's also worth visiting the home of Chaika, a multidisciplinary artist, where sculptures, paintings, silkscreens, and engravings adorn the walls of the spacious house.
In addition to all her talents, Chaika, a colorful woman of Romanian origin, brings the aromas of the Balkans and other gourmet cooking styles to Israel. The hostess is a chef by divine grace, but it should be noted that her cooking is a "muse" and you should not count on "full board". However, you can certainly order a lamb casserole or a hot hamin in a cold winter.
We left with a feeling of
Ein Hod is definitely an unusual and recommended place for a vacation. Beyond the qualities of the suites and the open view, there are simply lots of options for walking, wandering and hiking. When all this comes with an exceptional hostess who pays attention to aesthetics and high-level service - there is quite a bit of added value here.
