We liked it
The "thin" with the crazy view
You are the unconventional host
the recreation and wandering options
We noticed that
The suites are indeed open towards the view, but they are somewhat devoid of other air directions
A common wall in the balcony allows only partial privacy
Ein Hod is a very unconventional spot that simply cries out for luxurious suites. So we are pleased to announce: There are finally high-quality suites at Ein Hod that grant privacy, pampering and romance. In a location where the green of the Carmel mountain range joins the infinite blue of Hof Atlit, Hayka has created two new pieces of art: two luxurious suites for couples, for the special moments in their lives.
Location and ambience
In the small kingdom of Haika, on the outskirts of Ein Hod, we found two suites designed by an artist, in a modern minimalist style, with a yuppie fragrance and with a lot of architectural talent and attention to small details. They are located on the lower level of Haika's house and face the view directly.
We walk along the access paths that dissect the lush green garden. Like everything here, the combination of stones in the path is also unique: an inlay of large local stones and small glass balls decorate the large slices of the local stones. Since the suites are located on the outskirts of Ein Hod, the green view is almost undisturbed and the roofs of the few houses are much lower than the garden level so that nothing stands between the viewer and the object of his viewing - the view.
What does the place include
One of the gems of these special B&Bs in Ein Hod is a "hanging" deck, built right above the view. At sunset, all this beauty intensifies even more. The light from the sunset at Atlit brings a varied and orange wave, the sea colors the Carmel ridge in warm shades of orange and yellow and magenta red. When you are done staring at the Atlit fortress on the horizon, turn your gaze towards the garden of ancient olive trees with their twisting trunks that draw red shapes on the grass. It is clear why it is so easy to be an artist here.
The identical suites are designed as a "loft" space, with a huge and sunken bed, a large jacuzzi, and nice accessories. Since the place used to be Haika's studio, the artistic spirit still pulsates in the walls. Therefore, fittingly, the walls are decorated with silk prints, made by Haika, and no, they are not for sale.
You should know
Take in the sunset in the "hanging" deck: the light from the sunset at Atlit colors the Carmel ridge in warm shades of orange and yellow and magenta red. It is clear why it is so easy to be an artist here.
And if we were talking about artists - there are countless galleries here as well as places to eat and drink something. It is also worth entering the house of Haika, a multidisciplinary artist, where sculpture, painting, silk prints and engravings grace the walls of the spacious house.
In addition to all her talents, Haika, a colorful woman who comes from Romania, brings to Israel the aromas of the Balkans and other gourmet cooking styles. The hostess is a cook with superior grace, but it should be noted that her cooking is a "muse" and you should not build on "full board". However, you may be able to order a hot lamb casserole or chowder in the cold winter.
We left with a feeling of
Ein Hod is definitely an unconventional and recommended place for vacation. Beyond the qualities of the suites and the open view, there are simply a lot of options for walking, wandering and hiking. When all this comes with an exceptional hostess who is careful about aesthetics and high level service - there is quite a bit of added value here.
