Translated from Japanese, it means "House of Joy". We believe it. The holistic Zen atmosphere fills these cabins with a sense of deep calm and inner peace. The interior design is based on Feng Shui, enhanding the natural harmony of the space. Two cabiuns in authentic Japanese design, each with a magnificent oriental garden, and totally secluded.
Location and ambience
Full disclosure: We, at the Psega site, are constantly searching for exotic and unconventional accommodation complexes which (beyond the standard specification of a luxury lodge) offer guests a unique experience with added value.
We are looking for a place that contains a surprise, a fascinating story, an extraordinary atmosphere. A B&B that provides guests with great interest, a cultural adventure, a journey to new territories, full of discoveries and insights.
Well, we found it. Allow us to introduce you to "Rakuya" - or in Japanese translation "Mishkan ha Simcha". A B&B complex with two cabins in an authentic Japanese design, each with a spectacularly beautiful Japanese garden, completely secluded and private.
A wooden entrance gate opens to the magical garden, wrapped in exotic vegetation illuminated at night with romantic lighting. A wide "thin" balcony overlooks a traditional fish pond with a waterfall in the center, which produces gentle splashing water sounds.
A wooden bridge over the pool, stone paths leading to the cabin, plenty of colorful pieces of gardening - all of these invite guests to enjoy the spectacular view of exotic nature. The hosts created a Japanese garden here with talented and loving hands.
The delicate balance between the colors, the textures and the geometric shapes, the combination between sophistication and simplicity, between the exaltation of the spirit and the wisdom of the earth, the fusion of high aesthetics and an addictive feeling of relaxation - everything that exists here was created in order to create a disconnection from civilization, to leave all internal noises "out of the picture", and to allow guests to surrender to the moment, to the experience, to the emotion.
The hosts of "Rakuya" spent many years in the Far East, where they fell in love with the Zen culture. After they returned, they created a vision: to copy the Japanese hospitality experience to the provinces of our country and establish here a small and intimate lovers' retreat, well wrapped in the atmosphere and holistic spirit of the land of the rising sun.
Thanks to the natural beauty, silence and solitude, the southern settlement of Ein Hashour became the ideal location to fulfill the couple's fantasy. Another word about the geographical location of the B&B. Ein Hashur is in the near south, about an hour's drive from Jerusalem and an hour and a half from Tel Aviv. The area is full of tourist attractions, including nature reserves, culinary and cultural centers. In an unexpected way - the guests at "Rakuya" gain time thanks to the short trip, which can be "invested" in a variety of interesting attractions.
And now - some technical details: two stone huts named "Yin and Ying" are located one next to the other, with each having a private and isolated outdoor area, designed as a traditional Japanese garden. The huts are different from each other, each one has a deep spiritual and philosophical essence.
The design is based on the ancient theory of feng shui, which balances the energy array within the space. A host of design elements make the place a true Japanese home: typical color combinations, authentic carpentry in the doors and furniture, rice paper ornaments, ceramic serving utensils in the Far Eastern style. Even the house blessing card is written according to the rules of classical calligraphy.
Design here is minimalistic, in Japanese style. Less is more, and the design cleanliness is what allows the space to "breathe".
It is desirable to mention the atmosphere: the open, well-lit spaces instill an intimate, relaxed feeling. The furnishings here are comfortable, cozy, wonderfully organized, allowing for a variety of opportunities for a couple's time: cuddle up quietly in the spacious living room in front of an LCD screen connected to cables or alternatively pamper yourself in the jacuzzi located in a separate niche, settle down on the low and wide original bed with a good book and a loving hug, take a walk in the quiet garden, eat a delicious breakfast together...
In conclusion: for lovers of exotic experiences combined with quality, pleasant and pampering hospitality.
