An artistic, romantic and comfortable suite in a particularly picturesque settlement
..."What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you say 'Ein Hod'? I imagined a view of Carmel, galleries and crazy artists. The good news is that 'Tal Shahar' really has a great view of Carmel and the forest and the sea. The even better news is that Tel, The host is indeed an artist, but she's not crazy. The best news is that it's only 45 minutes from the center...
[From the words of the critic, Yair Sheinberg]
I meet Tal outside the house, after trying, unsuccessfully of course, to find the place by myself. It took a few minutes but eventually my male ego had to admit that I was just lost and picked up the phone embarrassed. On the other hand - it's quite fun to get lost in the alleys of this picturesque village.
I follow Tal to a large house whose walls are covered with small stones. She lives upstairs and her only suite is downstairs. Already at the entrance I remember that I am in an artists' village, when I find myself in front of a charming and original cabinet that looks as if it came out of 'Alice in Wonderland'. It continues with a space in pleasant yellowish tones, designed in a Mediterranean style, including arches, arched niches and arabesques.
Tal can tell me by tomorrow that her pottery studio is in the center of the village. For me he is here. There is a lot of tools and decorative objects made by her, and when you connect this to the beautiful space and the fact that you can buy a large part of the works, I don't understand why this place is not called 'the gallery'.
Another work of art here is the excellent coffee that Tal makes for me with a completely professional machine. It makes me want to go outside and there I find a shady deck, surrounded by vegetation. The deck is separated by a partition from another unit that is rarely used as Tal's house, but the feeling is one of privacy and intimacy - just me and the pretty crazy view west to the sea. Tal's house is perhaps the highest in Ein Hod and that means a great view. It also means that the great fire in Carmel almost reached him. Luckily not.
The "Tal Shahar" suite is a double suite, where you feel like you are in a secret, quiet and remote corner, cut off from the outside world. Although the suite is located next to the host's house, their physical proximity is not noticeable, thanks to the complete separation between the two complexes.
When the guests settle down in the comfortable chairs on the balcony of the suite, they observe an open landscape painted green stretching to the far horizon - a long-awaited and blessed peace approaches and comes, lands and settles in their hearts.
And how comfortable it is here - the large suite is designed inspired by the Mediterranean experience, adapted to a relaxed and relaxed style of freedom: feel free to use concepts such as "getting thrown", "thinking about", and "getting out of your mind" to define the vacation goals at Betel Shahar.
Take, for example, the low stone bench in the Moroccan seating style that forms the corner of the living room here, on which you will spend long hours lazing around idly, lazily curling up with a good movie in the background (flickering on the LCD screen opposite).
Alternatively, check out the wide bed made of custom carpentry - the forces of gravity applied to the orthopedic mattress make it very difficult to part with the close embrace of your partner while lying down. And also the jacuzzi, which is built in a separate niche, will contribute its part to the addictive "shanty" atmosphere that hangs over the place.
At your service - a comfortable kitchenette with an attached espresso machine, fresh and delicious products for preparing a healthy and satisfying breakfast, a bathroom with a rain shower head and an attached bench, a large mirror and a storage cabinet.
And of course, the detail whose importance is never "overrated": the lighting. Here it is romantic, soft, flattering, thanks to the flow of light coming through the large windows during the day. and at night - by the abundance of lighting fixtures spread along the walls and ceiling (Venetian blinds in the windows are "responsible" for obtaining shading during sleeping hours).
What’s on the site?
The Tal Shahar Suite is a unit in a complex – a quiet, remote, secret corner, cut off from the world outside. The suite is close to your hosts' home, but you won't feel it, thanks to the full separate between the two buildings.
The living room has large picture windows and a low, stone bench in the Moroccan style, opposite an LCD screen.
The bed is handcrafted and large, with orthopedic mattress. A Jacuzzi sits in a separate niche. The kitchenette has an espresso machine and lovely, fresh delicacies for a healthy breakfast. The bathroom has a rain shower head.
I stayed with my daughter at Tal Shahar's Zimmer. The place is clean and pleasant, the view is lovely and the atmosphere is great. Tal's artistic touches (mugs, pitchers, plates, bowls, pitchers, etc.) are felt in every corner of the room. The good taste and attention make the place special and intimate. The lovely Tal hosted us in her pottery gallery and made sure to assist us with everything needed to make the short visit unforgettable. warmly recommended!
The suite is beautiful and perfectly maintained inside and out with attention to every detail!
Tal the host is a lovely artist who welcomed us warmly and prepared everything for us.
The view is lovely and you can see the sea and the mountains from the beautiful garden and also from the suite.
There is absolute privacy and silence.
Ein Hod is a magical place full of works of art, galleries and cute corners, and on Saturday it's just fun to walk the alleys and watch the works and the lovely view.
The hosting experience at Tal Shahar was excellent:
We went for the first time after 5 years for a couple's vacation, without children...
It seems that the owner of the place put thought into every single detail - the design is simply perfect.
The view from the place is amazing - the sea and the Carmel mountain range, just like in the published photos.
The little treats - chocolate, granola, coffee machine, hot pot
In short - everything you need to enjoy a pampering couple's vacation!
We arrived at Tal's accommodation unit completely by chance, and were surprised by the level of thought put into every little detail. The place is very clean, non-smoking, decorated and special, and there is also breakfast on the balcony with a gorgeous view of the forest and the sea. The attitude is very pleasant, and of course it's worth visiting Tal's gallery. Thank you for everything!
We would like to recommend a wonderful, pampering, and aesthetic B&B in Ein Hod. We arrived at the B&B of the artist Tal Shahar and the second we entered, we felt the touch of Tal's hand in every corner of the B&B. The B&B is inviting and pampering. Tal's hospitality is from the heart. The balcony overlooking the sea, the treats that awaited us in the room and the highlight is the workshop we went through at Tal's place In the studio. A clay/pottery workshop. A wonderful feeling that allows you to feel the basic material of the earth. Simply a feast for the senses. Tal, thank you for a special and wonderful weekend. Dorit and Efi.
